Float tube

From Fishing Words
Float tube A one-man fishing floatation device. Early float tubes were simply truck tire inner tubes with covers...with built in seats and back rests. Modern float tubes are generally open front (U-Boat or V-boat) designs that are much easier to get in and out of and seat the angler higher on the water.
Float tubes are designed for fishing small ponds and lakes or slow flowing streams. They should not be taken on big lakes or on fast flowing rivers...especially with rough water.
