Fish Tackle Box

[edit] Description

Fish Tackle Box is a container which has many different compartments useful for storing small items. Some have multiple levels that expand when opened.

[edit] Primary Use and Function

This is a box in which you keep your fishing tackle. It's also useful for storing and organizing small gadgets and items that would otherwise get lost. Some people even use Fish Tackle Boxes to store hardware such as nails, screws, and fasteners.

[edit] When and Where Used

An example of a Fish Tackle Box is The Old Pal Tackle box, which was made by Woodstream back in the 1970s and the 1980s. It was produced in Lititz, Pa. It was a great tackle box company because they produced high quality tackle boxes made out of hard abs plastic. They were used not only for fishing but for crafts, sewing, hunting, and even more. They were especially used for the famous television show Emergency! This can be recognized by the big black box the two paramedics (Johnny and Roy) lugged around during rescues. The Old Pal tackle boxes can be found throughout the United States and even in other countries.
