Dolphin can refer to two different ocean-dwelling species.
1. The Dolphin fish (Coryphaena hippurus), also known as Mahi mahi or Dorado. This is a beautiful fish of tropical and subtropical waters of both the Atlantic and Pacific. It is a great game fish and is highly prized as table fare.
2. Dolphins which are marine mammals, closely related to porpoises and whales.
